WWWCFL Season Opener
On May 4, a flurry of action will be taking place across Western Canada as the Women’s Western Canadian Football League kicks off it’s third season!
This is an exciting year with the induction of two new teams to the Western Conference, the Okotoks Lady Outlawz out of Okotoks, Alberta and the Northern Anarchy, based out of Grand Prairie, Alberta.
The Northern Anarchy will host their first game on Saturday, May 4 against the Edmonton Storm. Okotoks will host their first home game on Saturday, May 4 against the visiting Lethbridge Steel, with kick off at 2:00pm. The Calgary Rage will have their first bye week on May 4th and will kick their season off on Saturday, May 11, when they host the Northern Anarchy.
The Prairie Conference will officially open their season on Sunday, May 5. The Winnipeg Nomads will travel to Saskatoon, Saskatchewan to meet with the 2012 WWCFL Champions, the Saskatoon Valkyeries, with a kick off time of 1:30pm.The Manitoba Fearless will travel to meet the Regina Riot on their home field in Regina, Saskatchewan with a kick off time of 11:00am.

Edmonton Storm is now Recruiting for the 2013 season
The Edmonton Storm is gearing up for another action-packed season of hard hits. Ages 16 and older, all athletic abilities and sizes are welcome. We provide full gear and training, no prior experience or knowledge of the game is needed. All you need is a willingness to learn, play hard and have fun!
The Edmonton Storm promotes tackle football for female players of all ages and athletic abilities. Our inclusive environment supports the development of both beginners and elite athletes and we are now recruiting for the up coming 2013 season.
It Takes All Kinds! Football demands a diverse range of aptitudes and skills for a variety of positions. There is no single body-type suited to all positions. The Edmonton Storm has opportunities for females of all shapes, sizes, and fitness levels. What's your best asset on the field? Field Practice April 4 at the Green Belt
Field Practice will be held at the Green Belt in the North end until the Storm practice field (Bonnie Doon) is open late April.
